Shooting conferences can be very varied in terms of photography. Some events can be quite formulaic with just one person at a podium doing nothing much except talking with very little movement. Others are much more dynamic and interesting visually, with a range of speakers and other 'break-out' activities.
David at DJC Design recently covered the LARAC 2009 Conference at the Liverpool ACC Arena , which definately fell into the later type of events. Clients and organisers The Environment Media Group had a wide range of requirements from the images and presented a comprehensive brief for activities during the three-day event.
David's photographs of the conference and award dinner successfully met the brief, with Events Co-ordinator Becky Denney (Environment Media Group) giving the following feedback;
"The photos were great – they were exactly what we were after in terms of capturing the networking, the high profile speakers, the Awards winners and also the fun of the Awards dinner. It was great to have such an involved photographer at the event capturing as much as possible and we would be very happy to use you again."

"I have employed David many times over the years, principally as a music conference and high profile event photographer. He is always easy to work with, has a strong sense of what style is needed for each project and brings back results on deadline. He is skilled, experienced and understands visual language and lighting. Additionally, David often helps secure additional PR and media coverage."
