Creative music, promotional, cultural and concert photography. No event or band is too big or too small.
I absolutely love live music; it's always exciting, a little stressful and you are never quite sure what to expect before you arrive at a venue. Often in the age of blinding LED lights, it's a technical problem of excessive colour casts ! Sometimes it is warm beer sprayed from the crowd, other times it's just getting pit access. Personal favourites are outdoor festivals, in particular Glastonbury, which I've been shooting at since 2007 and Africa Oye, here in Liverpool.
I've previously covered Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF), Boomtown Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Big Chill, Africa Oye, WOMAD, T In The Park, Chester Rocks and the Mathew Street Festivals, the Berlin Love Parade, Warehouse Project, Creamfields, Liverpool Psych Fest and the Love Music Hate Racism festival. Far too many gigs to list - personal highlights include the Wu Tang Clan during their last UK tour. I've also worked as a theatre photographer on a number of occasions - so if you have a show or a tour in the North-West, give me a call and I can cover the dress rehearsal.
I am represented by specialist photography agencies ArenaPAL and Everynight Images and my work has featured in many national and international publications.
Of course, I'm also confident creating brilliant promotional and press photography for your band, whether you need something out on location or in the studio. Orange used one of my Glastonbury images in an above the line advertising campaign. Also, I have shot album covers for the likes of The Wombats and Alun Parry and can pull in a great team of creatives if the budget is right, to create that killer look. I've got access to studio space and can hire props if required.
So please get in touch, if you are a band, agent or promoter and I'll get back to as soon as I can.

"Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank-you so much for the brilliant job you did for us in Bootle barracks the other week – we hit the Echo and also the Plymouth Daily (where we have an interest in veterans services) so we were dead chuffed."
